My Live-Your-Success Manifesto (Updated)

Success is not about titles and income levels; it is about feeling happy and good about yourself and your situation in life.

I strongly believe in a philosophy of living your success. In a nutshell, that means to know what success means to you – what makes you feel happy, fulfilled, and satisfied – and then to live in a way that moves you steadily toward being, having, and doing those things you desire. It should promote in you a sense of being successful and fully connected to life now rather than at some future time.

This approach to success can and should be applied to all aspects of life – happiness, marriage and family, personal growth, business, financial, health, spiritual, and so on. Living your success should put your happiness and what you want in life at the top of your priorities.

Now, I certainly don’t mean putting yourself first in a hedonistic, self-centered, or narcissistic way. Being holistic, well-balanced, and connected to the world around you are also important attributes of being successful. After all, you must experience life in the real world, not isolated from it in your own little bubble.

So putting this idea of “living your success” another way, I think the secret of being successful is to have a mindset of knowing what success means to you, and then being conscious of that mindset and acting in accordance with it. Not obsessively and compulsively so, but in a way that flows naturally and comfortably for you.

In actuality, everyone already lives according to a mindset – their attitudes and thoughts and framework about themselves, the world around them, and how they should relate to and interact with it. Your mindset is what determines your approach to life, your thoughts, your behavior, and your degree of success. If you don’t have the happiness and success you want, your mindset has everything to do with that. So it is important to have a mindset that helps you be more successful, not less so.

Most people haven’t thought much about their mindset; it just formed over their lifetime and is very much based on their experiences and how they responded to and interpreted them. Nor have most people thought much about what success really means to them; instead it is a general idea, lacking clear goals or at least a direction to move in.

Developing and improving your mindset is the single most important thing you can do to be happier and more successful!

That is what Live Your Success is all about as a concept and a company. It’s based on my own personal experience in learning and discovering mindset techniques that have helped me have some personal success in my life. And it is about my sharing the lessons and techniques I’ve learned with others.

In my blog, I will share my experiences with the ups and downs in my life. And I will share how I changed my mindset and meditation techniques I have used to increase the results I desired versus results I wanted less of. The living of life is big, diverse, challenging, and delightful, so I no doubt will touch on many other things. And I hope you join in the conversation on these things.

Finally, “living your success” is a way of being and particular approach to life that is intended to help one be more successful. I believe there are 4 pillars or requisites that are needed to live your success, and I will want to discuss them with you. They are:

  1. Getting clear about what success means to you – that is, your big goals
  2. Being more conscious of the success you want – thinking about your goals frequently
  3. Having a success-oriented mindset – thinking positive and envisioning yourself with goals achieved
  4. Acting to achieve your goals every day – taking steps toward your goals
